We are excited to announce our newest release, Borrowed Experience: How Working as a Loan Officer Made Me a Better Event Services Professional, an e-book by Stylehawk Event Services founder Cameron Ungar! In this e-book, Cameron identifies four core competencies he began developing early in his career in the home mortgage industry that he has carried into his current venture as the owner of a San Diego-based sports and entertainment event services company.

In the process of working with Cameron, we were surprised to discover how much these two seemingly disparate industries have in common. This e-book highlights what it is about Cameron that has enabled him to so smoothly transition into the event services industry and what makes Stylehawk Event Services such a valuable partner to venue operators, as well as to event promotors and organizers.

If you are considering working with Stylehawk in the course of planning your next event, this book is an excellent resource to understand the person behind the company and to get an idea of the principles Stylehawk lives by. What’s more—many of the competencies Cameron discusses in the book are helpful for small business owners in any industry. If you own a business, or are simply interested in picking up some practical success tips, this will be a helpful read.

We’ve enjoyed working with Cameron and learning more about the history of Stylehawk and his unique career path. In addition to this new e-book, we also sat down with Cameron for our Founder Stories series, where we talked about his passion for event services and about some of the challenges he faced in the early days of transitioning into becoming a small business owner. The full interview can be found here.

We’re honored to share Cameron’s story—after all, this is what we love most about what we do at Founder. We believe business owners, professionals, teachers, pastors, innovators, and so many others have inspiring stories to share, and we want to help tell those stories through books, e-books, and interviews. We’ve learned that stories connect people and create long-lasting bonds, so don’t be shy—contact us today and tell us a little bit more about what you do. We’d love to help get your story out into the world!
